16-      NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council for the Township of The Archipelago receives the report on the Investigation of Council and Committee meetings by Amberley Gavel Ltd.

iv)        Township of Georgian Bay. Enforcement of “No Wake” Zones

                        Pages: 49-50

16-      WHEREAS Council for the Township of The Archipelago has received a request for support of a resolution enacted by the Township of Georgian Bay regarding enforcement of “no wake” zones;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council supports the resolution enacted by the Township of Georgian Bay which requests the Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport, to address this dangerous and harmful situation, by implementing legislation that would provide authorities with the ability to enforce a “No Wake” restriction in Ontario’s navigable waters;

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Honourable Tony Clement, M.P., Parry Sound – Muskoka and all Ontario municipalities.
