NOTICE OF ADOPTION
OF AN OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENT
CONCERNING PROPOSED OFFICIAL PLAN
AMENDMENT No. 62 (CRANE LAKE RESORT)

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of The Archipelago passed By-law No. 17-51 to adopt Official Plan Amendment No. 62 on the 20TH day of October, 2017, under Section 17(22) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended.

THE PURPOSE of proposed Official Plan Amendment No. 62 is to add a new paragraph to “Section 16 – Special Provisions” of the Official Plan with respect to the lands designated as part of Lot 21, Concession 9, being Parcel Nos. 3040 and 5717 PSSS, including Part 2 on Plan 42R-9780, in the geographic Township of Conger.

THE EFFECT of proposed Official Plan Amendment No. 62, would be to facilitate the conversion of the existing resort into a 18-unit standard, residential condominium and to allow the severance of the marina lands from the property located in the Crane Lake Neighbourhood.

AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or public body will be entitled to receive notice of the decision of the approval authority if a written request to be notified of the decision is made to the approval authority. AND TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, the land to which Official Plan Amendment No. 62 applies is also the subject of Condominium Application No. SB01-16, Consent Nos. B01-16, B02-16, and Zoning By-law Amendment No. Z02-16.

AND TAKE NOTICE that Council received oral submissions during the hearing that were taken into consideration.
