NOTICE OF ADOPTION
OF AN OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENT
CONCERNING PROPOSED OFFICIAL PLAN
AMENDMENT No. 66 (DENNING)

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of The Archipelago passed By-law No. 17-52 to adopt Official Plan Amendment No. 66 on the 20TH day of October, 2017, under Section 17(22) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended.

THE PURPOSE of proposed Official Plan Amendment No. 66 is to add a new paragraph to “Section 16 – Special Provisions” of the Official Plan with respect to the lands designated as Part 1 on Plan 42R-15888, Part 1 on Plan 42R-19626 and Part 1 on Plan 42R-19627, designated as Parcel 27394, located in Part Lot 18 and Part of Broken Lot 19, Concession 11, in the geographic Township of Conger (northerly lot), as well as Part 1 on Plan 42R-2487, Parts 9 and 10 on Plan 42R-3084, designated as Parcel 27394, located in Part Lot 20, Concession 10, in the geographic Township of Conger (southerly lot).

THE EFFECT of Official Plan Amendment No. 66 is to allow for the creation of a new residential lot on the northerly lands, facilitated by the transfer of all development rights from the southerly lot to the northerly lot.

AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or public body will be entitled to receive notice of the decision of the approval authority if a written request to be notified of the decision is made to the approval authority. AND TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, the land to which Official Plan Amendment No. 66 applies will be the subject of Consent No. B11-15, and Zoning By-law Amendment No. Z01-17, if Official Plan Amendment No. 66 is approved.

AND TAKE NOTICE that Council received written submissions prior to the hearing that were taken into consideration.
